Privacy statement
We keep our data handling as simple and as small as our work allows. This statement explains which personal data we process through this website, why we do it and what you can ask of us.
Who is responsible
The Board Whisperers VOF is responsible for this website and for the personal data processed through it. The Other Perspective BV and House of Wonder BV are separate companies and are not responsible for this website.

Which data we process
We only process what you give us yourself, or what is strictly needed to keep the website working:
- The contact form: your name and email address (required), your organisation and phone number if you fill them in, and the content of your message. The form also uses a hidden decoy field and measures how long the form was open, purely to filter out automated spam. Your message is sent to us by email only — this website has no database and stores nothing.
- Email and phone: whatever you choose to tell us when you contact us directly.
- Scheduling: if you follow our link to Calendly to book a conversation, that provider processes your name, email address and the moment you choose, under its own privacy statement.
- Website use: technical data such as your device, browser and pages visited — measured only if you allow analytics cookies.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your question or plan a conversation — necessary to take steps at your request before or during an assignment (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To carry out and administer our assignments — contractual necessity and, where relevant, our legitimate interest in a workable practice (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
- To understand how this website is used and improve it — only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
- To comply with legal obligations, such as tax administration (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Cookies and Google Analytics
This website stores your cookie choice in your own browser so we can remember it. That is the only thing set by default; no tracking cookies are placed until you accept them. When you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics adds its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to recognise returning visits; these expire after at most two years.
We use Google Analytics 4 for aggregated statistics about the use of this website (pages visited, approximate location, device and browser). Analytics is only activated after you explicitly accept analytics cookies: before that moment no Google script is loaded, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent. Google's advertising signals and ad personalisation are switched off, and we do not use advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking of any kind. We do not measure the content of forms or other directly identifying personal data. Google processes your IP address to derive an approximate location; according to Google, IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. Refusing has no effect on what you can read or do on this website.
Service providers and processors
We keep the number of providers small. These are the ones that can process visitor data:
- Lovable — hosting and delivery of this website, including standard server logs needed for security and availability.
- Resend — delivery of the email that carries your contact-form message to our mailbox.
- Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC — Google Analytics 4, only after you accept analytics cookies.
- Calendly — only if you choose to follow our scheduling link.
- Our email provider — receiving and storing the correspondence in our mailbox.
These providers process data on our instructions only and may not use it for their own purposes.
Processing outside the EEA
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area, or use servers there. Where that happens, the transfer is covered by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
How long we keep data
- Questions and correspondence that do not lead to an assignment: kept no longer than needed to handle them properly, and reviewed periodically.
- Assignment and client records: kept for as long as the assignment runs and afterwards for the statutory retention periods that apply to us, including the seven-year tax retention period for financial records.
- Contact-form messages: kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your question, and no longer than two years if it does not lead to an assignment. Resend keeps a short-lived delivery log of at most 30 days.
- Analytics data: kept in Google Analytics for the retention period set there, which we keep as short as the tool allows (currently 14 months).
Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted connections, access limited to the two of us and to providers who need it, and devices and accounts secured with strong authentication.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, restrict or transfer your personal data, and you can object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time; this does not affect what happened before you withdrew it.
Send your request to info@theboardwhisperers.com. We reply within one month and may ask you a question to make sure we are dealing with the right person.
Complaints
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, we would like to hear it first so we can put it right. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Changes
When our services or tools change, we update this statement. The date below shows when we last did so.
